Urgent Care & TMC

wow this weekend was not so good for Stephen and I. In the past month and a half i have gotten sick 3 times, Friday i began with the same flu symptoms like the other few times i got sick. I was sent home from work pretty early my parents advice me to call my OB-Gyn i did and they told me that was not normal getting sick 3 times in the past little while they told me to head over to Urgent Care. Stephen was in school during the time so i got my mother in law to pick me up. We got a hold of Stephen and he meet us at the Urgent care. We waited 45 mins they got me in pretty quick, when they took me into the exam room they checked my heart rate and found out my rate was at 150 which was way to high that was a concern. I also started getting sharp pains kinda where the baby is they asked me if i felt like pushing i told them no that the pain is always there, i was short out of breathe always that was the reason for the high heart rate they monitored but it was still high. I was not really aware of what was going on i was in such bad shape all i could hear is them talking about my condition. They finally let Stephen in the room and told him that they just called transport to take me to the hospital. Paramedics came in and took my vital signs, asked me all these questions put me on oxygen. They put me into the ambulance Stephen couldn't come because there was no room. They took some blood sample which i hate getting my blood drawn and a diabetes test and others. We got to the Hospital and took me to the Maternity area and put me on 4 bags of IV fluid we found out i was suffering from dehydration. I was worried about the baby more then me they checked the babies heart rate and good thing the baby didn't suffer from what i was going through, we got to hear the heart beat and sounded healthy like the first time we heard it. I still wasn't feeling good my heart rate slowly went down but then went up again after throwing up these potassium pills which they also said i had a low count of, they keep us till 3:00am on Saturday till my heart rate was back to normal. Im doing better but on bed rest for a couple of more days, we are just glad to be home in our own bed.
