Happy 4th Anniversary

December 17th 2005 Stephen and i were married and yesterday we celebrated our 4th anniversary. It has been a blessing to be married to each other we remember every little milestone we have taken together and the wonderful years we have shared. We are so grateful for each other and the love we have for each other and for our son. Can't wait for more anniversaries to come.

It was such a wonderful day, We spent the whole morning with jacob had lunch and did some errands, then took Jacob over to grandma's house.
Stephen and i heaed over to Pusch Ridge stables, we went horse backing riding for a couple horses till the sun went down. We will never forget that experience we loved every mintue of it. The trail was absolutely breathe taking it was very romantic and i would love to do it again, we had a blast.
After horse back riding we headed back home to change and get ready for dinner, we went to the Bamboo Club we have been going there for the past 4 anniversaries it's our little tradtion. Our dinner was so yummy and for some reason there was room for desert, it was romantic seating there eating a candlelit dinner together.After dinner we headed home and there on the table were my roses he gave me that morning and our "Fake" champion with two classes we drank our sparkling apple cider in bed and watch the office. It was a wonderful day and we will not forget it!

A Christmas gift

Christmas is almost here and it's the best time of the year i love every minute of it. Today i woke up singing Christmas songs and was just in a Christmas spirit. I know we are still in November but i just cant help it. So this morning as we are getting ready to head out the door my parents called and they said they had a surprise, so im thinking they are coming down a little earlier before Christmas but that wasn't it, so they said our family Christmas present is...


WE ARE GOING TO DISNEYLAND

We are so excited, THANKS mom and dad we love you and cant wait for you guys to come down for Christmas and for Disneyland. I TOTALLY FEEL LIKE A KID AGAIN.

Halloween 2009

We had such a wonderful Halloween we mostly spent it with family, which was nice. On Friday our ward had there trick or treat, which we got to bring our own blankets and the kids would go around to each blanket and get candy. Jacob had so much fun he went around with daddy then wanted to go around with me,we had so much fun and little Jacob looked so cute in his pirate costume that i made. Stephen and I were boning we didn't dress up but there is always next year. After the whole blanket treat thing we went out for dinner with our good friends.

Halloween day, we had family come over to our house and we had pizza and all shorts of other treats. Jacob was so funny during dinner he would get all excited and wanted to see who was at the door when the trick or treaters would come on by. He was done with dinner and eager to go outside. We all went trick or treating and loved watching Jacob go up to the houses and hold his bag out he really got the hang out of it after a couple of houses, it was cute because he didn't want anyone to hold his bag but him. We were only thinking of going to a couple of house but Mr.Jacob wanted to continue on his way to each house. Finally after 2 hours of trick or treating we got him to bed, then Stephen and i watched a scary movie and enjoyed some of Jacob's candy:)

Going private

I have had mixed feelings about going private or not and Stephen and I have decided to go ahead and make our blog private.
So if you want to continue checking out our blog please leave your email address and i will send you an invite! I'm planning on making it private in the next 2 weeks.

This weekend was a good one, we went over to target and bought Jacob's potty chair. It's so cute it plays music when he goes potty. We tested it out and he loved sitting in his little toilet and while sitting there, Jacob went pee pee and he got so excited when music starting playing. I gave him a big hug and told him he was such a big boy and yes he got to flash the toilet again, i love his little laugh when he flashes. So far the whole potty training is going good, it's only been his second day and he is doing well we still have a lot of practise ahead of us.

To celebrate, Jacob going potty we went over to Chucky cheese, and oh boy i totally forgot how CRAZY it is in there i think the last time i have gone was forever ago.
Jacob LOVED it, he really liked going on the little rides he kept walking over there and wanted to go on. He also played some games but i did most of the work i got a total of 318 tickets and ended up getting some little toys for Jacob, and yes a toy for Stephen. We had so much fun, by the end of it we all 3 were pooped.

It's POTTY time

Potty training is now in session

For the past 2 weeks Jacob has been showing signs to start potty training, so today we did the first attempt and he DID IT!! we are so excited we weren't sure if he was going to take interest in the whole going to the potty because he is still little, but he did we even let him flash the toilet and he got a big kick out of it. We are planning on getting his potty chair this weekend so it will make it easier for him.
Way to go Jacob!

Just an update i have been doing a lot better and my eyes are feeling great, which mean my baby is coming home tomorrow i can wait to kiss and hold him.

QUARANTINE

Quarantine... I'm contagious!!

Here is the story my eyes have been giving me problems and have been beat red for a good week. I was putting eye drops figuring that it will go away. Yesterday while taking Jacob to Movers and shakers class my eyes were burning so bad and were beat red by the end of the day. Finally today i had enough of this eye irritation i couldn't even keep my eyes open they hurt so bad the only thing that felt better was to have them closed. I didn't even know what to do i tried putting Jacob for an earlier nap so i can just lie down and close my eyes but of course he didn't want to go. It was finally lunch time and i really didn't want to make anything for lunch because of my eyes so i figure we get something fast. We got ready and the first thing that happens my poor eyes just water like CRAZY there was no stopping this, just being outside in the sunlight hurt like a mother... I called the doctors and the only time they can get me in was at 4:30 i didn't care i wanted to be seen. I called Stephen's mom and she came to the house right away. She helped me take care of Jacob and we drove to the eye doctors.

The doctor calls me into his room and takes one glance at me and he knew what i had he checked my eyes anyways and told me that i have a contagious virus which is call "EKC". He starts telling me that it starts from the eyes, to my nasal and chest area. He told me that I'm going to be VERY sick and i need to be away from any human contact. The sad part was that he told me that i have to stay away from my baby and Stephen that i cant even hold or kiss them. I cried and he said that it will only be a week, but still that seems like a life time. I hate this but i want my eyes to be better.
I have to be on some strong eye medication for 2 weeks, i have to through all my eye make up away anything that i have touched in the last 24 hrs has to be washed. I have to carry with me a big jar of hand sanitizer. This is going to be a LONG week. Stephen will be staying with me and has already been helping me out and getting me comfortable to my new living arrangements. I have to be in complete rest mode!! Jacob is going to be at his grandma's house for the weekend and i will have him back Monday.
So now i have to find some ways to have my week go by fast, i did get Stephen to download all the friends seasons so I'll be busy watching that. But the HARD thing is NO CONTACT FROM ANY OF MY FAMILY. I love them to much, i broke down tonight i couldn't given kiss my baby goodnight. I really hope this week goes by fast!

He got up this morning and decided today is going to be the day he walks. We are so excited and we love watching him walk EVERYWHERE. He LOVES it, he walks and runs all over the house and thinks it's the coolest thing ever. Way to go Jacob!

New calling

About 2 weeks ago we got a phone call from the stake president wanting to speak and interview me. I was really nervous because i was wondering way he wanted to only see me, we finally met with the stake president and he talked to both of us and wanted to get to know us a little more, towards the end of my interview he talked about my calling. I was surprised and nervous because i would of never in a million years thought that he would ask me to do this calling. I thought about it and prayed for a good week and i humbly accepted my calling which is, first councilor in the stake primary. I'm very excited and nervous but i know that Heavenly father will help me with my calling.

Brothers

My baby brothers were here last week and spent a whole week with us. They drove from Calgary Alberta Canada stopped at Salt lake and drove to Tucson a total of 30 hrs of driving. We had such an amazing time and they got to bond more with Jacob. They absolutely loved Jacob and spoiled him wherever we went. The last time they were here they didn't get to explore Tucson that much, we went over to the zoo, the mall, ate out and more. We had a blast, Stephen had to work most of the days that they were here but at night we would go out of dinner and come home and watch scary movies and the boys would pick some freaky ones so they can laugh at my reaction to the movies...good old brothers.
I was so glad to see my brothers and spend time with them before they both start university in the fall. It was sad to see them leave yesterday and i hate saying goodbye. I'll get to see my family again in December they will be spending Christmas in Tucson for the first time. I cant wait it's still 4 months away so I'm hoping the months go by fast.
